Since 2009, on behalf of CSR Västsverige Public and Private Initiative, Daxam has been facilitating a cooperative learning group for procurement managers from several of West Sweden's key organizations. Participating organizations include Volvo Cars, Astra Tech, Lindex, AB Volvo, SCA, Chalmers, Västra Götaland Region, Svenska Mässan, Göteborgs Energi, Gothenburg University and Upphandlingsbolaget, the City of Gothenburg Procurement Company. Together these organizations account for over 200.000 employees.
CSR Västsverige’s overarching goal for the Hållbara Inköp Samverkansgrupp (sustainable procurement workgroup) is to significantly contribute to the development of sustainable procurement practices in the Västra Götaland region.
In support of this end, the 2012 goals for CSR Västsverige as regards the group are to:
- Continue to ensure the issues focused upon are of direct relevance, importance and concrete value to the participating organizations, and
- Upgrade the group from being primarily an information-sharing forum to become a collaborative change implementation workgroup.
Daxam partner Kaarina Dubee is project manager and lead facilitator for the group, reporting to Åsa Furnander, Head of Operations, CSR Västsverige. For further information (in Swedish) please visit www.csrvastsverige.se.
In collaboration with Koucky & Partners, Daxam partner Fredric Norefjäll is currently facilitating a cooperative learning project involving 15 state-owned companies. Many of the participating companies have a long tradition of working with responsible business practices, including TeliaSonera, Samhall, and Systembolaget.
The project is based upon Fredric's Guide on Responsible Business Travel, and builds upon the ISO 2600 and GRI frameworks. The project is financed by Trafikverket - the Swedish Transport Administration.
