Sandra Samuelson

Sandra is originally from Onsala, south of Gothenburg. She has a Bachelor’s degree in European Business from Halmstad University and a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Economics from the University of Gothenburg. During her Bachelor studies she spent three semesters abroad at Lincoln Business School, where she gained an interest in sustainability issues. The Master’s programme focused on sustainable management and it emanated in a Master project that was conducted for a market leader in sustainability with the aim to examine how the company integrates environmental initiatives in operations.

During the Master studies Sandra was co-founder and co-president of Net Impact Gothenburg, the first Swedish Net Impact chapter. Net Impact is an organization for students and professionals interested in using business skills in support of various social and environmental causes.

After completing her studies Sandra worked with operation controlling at Familjebostäder i Göteborg AB. She worked with different projects to improve the organizational structure at Familjebostäder, such as to identify and improve workflows between company units by creating clear processes, introducing a new type of operational plan, creating a handbook for the facility caretakers involving processes and descriptions of all their work tasks. She was part of the SABO trainee program and now has both practical and theoretical knowledge of the housing industry.

Sandra joined Daxam in August 2012 as an Analyst. She speaks Swedish and English.
