Mike is Australian and moved to Sweden in 2008. He joined Daxam in 2009 and became Partner in October 2011 when Daxam merged and became Daxam Sustainability Services AB.

Mike has 15 years experience working in Australia, Asia and Europe, focusing on sustainable development, corporate strategy and management consulting. In Australia, Mike worked for two organizations – Westpac, Australia’s largest financial services organisation, and Accenture, one of the world’s largest management consulting firms. As the Senior Manager of Westpac’s corporate strategy team, Mike worked closely with the executive team and senior management in the development and implementation of their business strategy. For Accenture, Mike provided a number of strategic advisory, program management and consulting services for clients in Australia and Asia.

Having had the opportunity to work on small business development projects in Australia’s aboriginal communities and in Africa, Mike shifted his focus towards sustainability. More recently, Mike's experience with sustainable development has included delivering training to companies in Lithuania, performing research on inclusive business in Ghana, building global sustainability assessment tools, and working with the transportation sector in Sweden. Mike is a firm believer that a thoughtful and innovative sustainability strategy creates financial value while simultaneously addressing today’s social and environmental challenges. 

Mike has a Masters of International Business and Trade from the University of Gothenburg.
